Description

Here is my interpretation of the Red Bull X2010 in the form of a Homage to the US Air Force.

The concept of this is the same with the X2010 and X2011, it is based on a low air resistance, single seater covered wheel prototype, a wing car powered by a forced induction engine producing 1479 HP, aiming to achieve a top speed of over 470 km/h (292 mph) and a maximum lateral G-force of 6G. Upon slipstreaming, however, the car can manage speeds of over 500 km/h (311 mph)

This version however contains a few changes from the original, it utilizes a smaller 2.3L V6, compared to the original's 3.0L unit, but it is outfitted with four massive Turbochargers, and revving up to 24,000 rpm it produces 1800hp, and 850 ft lbs of torque, it's cooling system has also been improved to ensure reliability.

It's transmission is still the original 7 speed sequential gear box found on the X2011, and it helps it propel to a top speed of 300 mph on it's own and when slipstreaming it can achieve a mind-numbing 320 mph, keeping it on the ground is a sophisticated pushrod suspension also found on the X2011, and for extra downforce, it utilizes the same Fan Car technology as the X2010 and X2011, the fan sucks air from under the car and ejects it out of the rear, this creates a lower air pressure under the car's floor. The difference in pressure above and below the car presses it towards the ground, producing downforce, thus allowing the car to generate constant downforce regardless of the car's current speed, the fan principle allows it to maintain a high cornering speed in low speed corners. It's brakes are a set of massive carbon ceramic zero-fade brakes with kevlar brake pads to ensure fast braking.

For the body, it utilizes a majority of the X2011's parts mainly the canopy and the ducts connecting the internal radiator, fan, and skirts, it's wing is has been enlarged, which bear a resemblance to an F-22 Raptor's tail wings. It's exterior is painted in Matte Black with red accents (not shown here) which pays tribute to the paint scheme of the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird. Also it's exhaust have been revised and same with the exhaust of the car's fan, which now looks like the two thrust vectoring nozzles from the Raptor's Pratt & Whitney F119 PW Turbo Fan jet engines.
