Ground Mobility Vehicle (GMV) 'Thor'by ~jmig3

The GMV is a modified HMMWV that has been adapted for special operations use, mostly based on lessons learnt during Operation Desert Storm in 1991.

Basically GMVs are Humvees on Steroids. And ODA operates with 4 GMVs with 3 per GMV and the 4 GMVs are:
"THOR" (Lead GMV)
"SLIM JIM"
"WAR PIG"
"BUTTERCUP" XD just kidding it's real name is "STRASSETOTEN" (German for Roadkill)

Anyway the GMV in the drawing is "THOR" The lead GMV, driven by Mikhail. It earned the name Thor from it's twin mounted M2 "Ma Deuce" .50 cal machine guns.

It's suspension is a MagneRide suspension which have a fluid mixed with easily magnetized iron giving it an extremely smooth ride which is important for Hit-and-Run attacks.

It's exterior has been up-armored giving it addied protection which allows it to be constantly peppered with bullets, it also has Raytheon Quick Kill (the small rectangles on the top), an active protection system made to destroy incoming anti-tank missiles, rockets, and grenades. Though it was reported that the Humvee or JLTV would not be suitable for the Quick Kill APS, due to the blast pressures generated when the incoming warhead detonates, which was likely to buckle lightly armored vehicles, the Quick Kill system on THOR is designed to detonate missiles 60 feet from the vehicle preventing damage to the GMV.

For weapons it's got twin mounted M2 "Ma Deuce" .50 cal guns on the roof protecting it and the gunner is a custom built turret shield. It also has one M2 mounted on the rear and has an M240B machine gun mounted on the passenger side door to provide cover fire to dismounting operatives.
