Back to my Time Attack car project, er... you know what I'll just rename it to Time Attack Family, because it sounds cooler XD

Anyway this is the Corvette ZR1 in Time Attack trim, (The WTAC sticker is a nod to this year's WTAC 2013 event)

The design ques for this car were taken mostly from the Corvette Racing C.6R ZR1 which is where I got the headlights XD The body styling was from the race car variant of the C6 in Gran Turismo 5. But either way, it uses the Form Follows Function principle.

The engine is the 6.2L LS9 V8, initially it runs Hennessey Performance's HPE750 performance package which gives it an upgraded supercharger pulley and high flow supercharger snout which accounts for it's massive increase to it's boost, engine modifications come in the form of CNC Ported Cylinder Heads, HPE Air Induction System, Upgraded Valvetrain Parts, Custom HPE Camshaft, Extreme Duty Valve Springs, All Necessary Gaskets & Fluids, HPE Engine Management Calibration, additional parts are a titanium intake and exhaust manifolds and an Akrapovic Titanium free-flowing exhaust system, forged racing pistons, a custom from-mounted Hennessey intercooler is also present up front, and the engine is tweaked to rev at 6,700 rpm (200 rpm over stock). The engine itself is also mounted closer to the bulkhead, creating a Front-Midship layout and giving it perfect 50-50 weight balance. Total output is rated at 885hp and 890ft/lbs of torque

The transmission is a Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual gearbox, fitted with close gear ratios, which limits it's top speed to about 225 mph, it also gains a Tilton carbon flywheel and drive shaft plus an Alcon triple plate clutch and an Eaton 2-way limited slip differential.

The suspension consists of the stock double wishbone system which runs a Pratt Miller Engineering fully-adjustalble suspension system plus Pfadt adjustable anti-roll bars and a reworked Magnetic Dampers which help the car handle like a dream. Braking is performed by Brembo 6-piston calipers holding a set of massive 15.5 inch cross-drilled and slotted Carbon Ceramic brake rotors giving it incredible stopping power.

The Tires are nitrogen-filled Hankook Ventus semi slick tires, which are 295mm wide up front and 345mm wide at the rear; and a generous amount of negative camber helps maximize the tires' effective grip.

The body has been seam welded and reinforced with a rollcage to keep the car rigid, the body panels are a one-off dry carbon SEIBON wide body kit with vents on the tires and hood to dissipate heat from the brakes and engine. It gains a custom LG Motorsports front splitter, a large adjujstable rear wing and a rear diffuser which all account for about nearly 1,050 pounds of downforce. The interior has been stripped bare, save for the air condition, which is there to keep the driver from fainting (from the heat). Total weight: 2,450 lbs.

Racing modifications include a fire extinguisher and a fire suppressant system, in place of the regular seats are a pair of Recaro SP-G and in place of seat belts are Sabelt 6-point racing harnesses and lastly a 35-gallon fuel tank to prevent fires in case of a puncture.
