My new drawing of the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro, unlike the previous Camaro ZL1 I did in this [link] this Camaro took the awesome knob and took it up to eleven. Unlike the previous one this is left hand drive and has more horsepower and is more eager to be thrashed around the drift circuits.
This particular version is called the N690 the "N" stands for the Nurburgring and the "690" indicates it has 690 hp. This will be part of the Detroit 3 project I'm doing, this one will be paired up with the 2013 [HOONIGAN] 313 GT500 and the 1320 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392
Like the GT500 most of the Camaro's parts are carbon fiber, most of it's carbon parts are from the company called SEIBON while the previous GT500's parts were custom made, mainly the doors, trunk, front fenders, side skirts, front splitter, rear bumper lip, and the rear spoiler. While the hood, side mirrors and the roof are all custom carbon fiber parts.
Now for the main bit, performance. It's now powered by a supercharged 6.2L all aluminum LSA V8, which in stock trim has 580hp and 556ft lbs of torque while this one thanks to a Vortech Supercharger and Intercooler this now has 690hp and 650ft lbs of torque. This one has an air and oil filter from K&N filters, a Mild2Wild Camaro ZL1 exhaust control which allows you to control how loud or silent the exhaust is. Preferably, I'd have it set to wild ALL the time! XD If I were to describe how it should sound like here's a [link] to a 70' Chevy Chevelle 454 SS revving, that's how I imagine this Camaro should sound like.
For the wheels it's riding on black 20" HRE Comp20 rims for the front and rear tires, wrapping the tires are Pirelli PZERO Corsa race tires which are now 315mm wide in the front and 335mm wide in the back. For the brakes if you notice they're black which means yes, they are Carbon Ceramic brakes.
For the suspension, well it's still the same stock magnetic ride suspension.
The interior has custom reclining bucket seats with OMP 4 point safety harnesses. Like the GT500 it has oil, water and temperature gauges. And it has Launch Control. That's right I said said it. The Camaro L1 has launch control as standard! XD
For the exterior like I said most of it's parts are carbon fiber, and the styling on the hood and the roof is based on Bumblebee from Transformers 3
It indeed looks so wild, even the sems on the bumpers and side skirts somehow reminds me of Death Race. Ad some protective layers of metals on the windshield and some weaponry and you'd finally get a Death Race style Camaro.
But don't forget to find the way out from the isolation island once we finished...
That's you speciality, isn't it? Firearms and such. We'd better not lose the race with you in the crew...
